Operating out of Mylor Yacht Harbour, a beautiful Cornish harbour

Mylor Yacht Cruising School is a well established yacht and powerboat school which is family run. We operate out of Mylor Yacht Harbour, a beautiful small Cornish harbour, in the picturesque Carrick Roads. A stretch of water in south west Cornwall near Falmouth. Based Mylor Yacht Harbour, this is a near perfect location and an award winning Yacht Harbour with regard to its facilities and design. We offer a wide selection of RYA sailing courses and our yacht is a Bavaria 34 which is fitted to a very high standard and coded to MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) specification. Yacht Sailing Courses run all year round. Come and learn to sail or improve your sailing skills. Choose either an RYA Course or we can tailor make sessions to your personal requirements including own boat tuition.The area offers a variety of attractions including waterside pubs (which all serve good food and local ales), the Maritime museum, the Eden project and Tate gallery for modern art, to name but a few. There is certainly plenty to do if you fancy a day off sailing. Yacht Cruising Destinations include the whole of the western English channel ranging from Brixham and Dartmouth across to the Channel islands and the northern coast of Brittany down as far as Brest west Brittany including the lovely Isles of Scilly. If you booked two weeks you could even cruise to southern Ireland. Or if you prefer you could stay in the area and explore, at your leisure, the creeks and rivers of the Carrick Roads visiting the Helford River and Fowey. All this for you to enjoy.

Our prices vary between high and low season. High season is April the September and low season October to March. Included in the price are full waterproofs if required and sleeping bag.

Accommodation for the duration of your 5 day training courses with us is included on board the training yacht.
