We specialise in Sailing Holidays for groups and families. "Yacht Voyages" is an RYA Recognised Sailing School which has been eaching people to sail since 1993.

Be a part of this incredible voyage around the world, which started in England in1996. Now in Asia, it has included some of the worlds most interesting and exotic places, cruising the world's most beautiful coastlines, visiting remote cultures and participating in a number of races and rallies.
We offer 5 and 7 day courses with the 7 day variant being specially designed and more luxurious than your normal course aiming to teach you in style with less pressure - because of this we have a very high pass rate. There is even time to relax and enjoy a holiday too. Everything we do we try to do just that bit better than anyone else.

If you want to learn to sail join one of our Learn to Sail Holidays. We usually have small groups of four students or less (It does depend on the group and the absolute maximum is five) in order to give more comfort below. We pride ourselves on our excellent fresh food. A mix of international and local cuisine is prepared for you and you will not need to cook your own meals. Good quality linen is supplied for your cabins. Our teaching methods are advanced and aim to assess individual students in order that you are taught in the way that you learn best.

The Sailing Instruction by Mark Holroyd is the best available, benefiting from his many sea miles and vast experience around the world in all types of vessel and conditions.

Two Week RYA Practical Courses

For those who want to really relax yet get their qualifications or who think they would like to get much more experience as well as their certificate we recommend our two week courses which run over 14 days and cover a larger cruising ground. These courses are ideal for those who want to build their confidence, develop their skills, gain more miles or just have less pressure.

What is included in the price?

* all meals taken on board Meniscus (full board is available unless you choose to eat ashore). General sailing instruction and involvement in the day to day sailing and other activities aboard Meniscus.
* RYA practical courses and certificates as appropriate (if requested).
* Use of snorkeling and fishing equipment. (Divers need to be qualified and arrange their own insurance.)
* Use of bed linen and towels (but please bring a beach towel).
* Use of wet weather clothing if required.
* Use of safety equipment as appropriate.

Accommodation:

Meniscus of Gweek, a Bruce Roberts 45, will be your home on your Sailing Holiday or Sailing Course. She is a very comfortable vessel for sailing vacations and yacht charter. Currently cruising in SE Asia with destiantions in Langkawi Malaysia, Phuket Thailand and Myanmar Burma.

Meniscus means the smallest crescent of the moon and Gweek is a village at the top of the beautiful Helford River in Cornwall where she was fitted out. Accommodation: 8 berths in 4 cabins outside the saloon, 2 heads, one fitted with shower. (In general, except for occasional race weeks, four or possibly six guest berths will be filled, allowing plenty of space and stowage for each person on board).

Bruce Roberts yachts are designed and proven to be robust blue water cruisers able to provide a good general level of performance as well as being capable of withstanding heavy conditions should the need arise. She has proved herself to be a good all round boat capable of making good passage times and sailing through several storms.
