Skippered Learn to Sail Holidays:
We welcome all levels of experience and will plan your sailing trip to suit your holiday ambitions and crew. Learn as little or as much as you like. We can offer practice with navigation, mile building, night sailing, mooring techniques and all levels of sailing skills during your holiday. Also ideal for those looking for further experience outside of a flotilla or Ionian sailing as the skipper can be on board in the background and offer advise where needed.
Assisted Sailing:
Not sure if you have the confidence/skills required to bareboat charter in the Caribbean? Take a skipper for the first one or two days (or more) to refresh your skills and build confidence in this sailing area. Whenever you want to sail yourselves the skipper will leave the yacht and take a ferry/flight home from whichever island you are on, ensuring you have a route plan with support mooring at night in all the places you visit. Sail Ionian offers full support to all of our clients in the Grenadines. The yachts are generally larger in the Caribbean than other sailing destinations, you are navigating around reefs and you will be reefing sails daily. Our assisted option is there to can help build crew confidence and ability from the start so you can enjoy your holiday without any stress! You will also get some handy tips on fishing and local customs!

Sail Ionian is opening its second sea school in the Grenadines – a family run RYA training centre offering expert tuition for all levels of experience. Our courses are taught by very experienced, professional and friendly instructors on new, well maintained and fully equipped yachts. We offer the full range of RYA courses for those new to sailing to more experienced sailors looking to further enhance their skills and knowledge on the water.General pricing info.

Accommodation:
For the duration of your course you'll be sleeping on board the yacht which will be one of our new Bavaria's. You can either opt for a cabin on one of our Bavaria 38 - 40 foot training yachts with up to 4 other people sharing the same yacht (and the instructor) or you can charter a yacht to yourselves and the instructor will join you on board for the duration of your training. After your training you can sail yourselves.About the area:
