Split is one of the easiest ports to get to if you're looking to charter a yacht. It is accessible using the regular ferry from Italy or as most people will arrive, by plane to the airport which is just out of town (not far). Split is not far from the Kornati National Park and the collection of islands it encompasses, whilst to the south there are such islands as Hvar, Brac, Vis, and Korčula. Flights are plentiful, both direct and with stop overs although in season you will find more due to the charter flights which service Split. ACI Split is the main marina there and is likely to be where your yacht will be berthed. That said there are a couple of marinas just up the coast too hence transfers are likely to be between 25 and 45 minutes or so traffic allowing.
