Sailing Courses:
Situated in the stunningly beautiful port of Sotogrande, on Spain’s famous Costa del Sol, we can offer two continents, two oceans, and four countries as part of your sailing experience. You can take your RYA courses in the waters of Spain, Morocco, Portugal and Gibraltar.

Whether you are a novice wanting to learn from scratch, or an experienced sailor wanting to take commercial qualifications, we can offer the course most suited to you.

As an RYA Sail and Power Training centre, we offer all courses from Start Sailing, through Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper, right up to Yachtmaster.

In addition to instruction courses, we offer mileage building voyages for those wanting to experience longer passages and qualify for the Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster courses. The Canaries, Cape Verde Islands, The Balearic Islands, and Sardinia have all featured in our previous adventures.

Location & How to Find Us:
There are two airports near Sotogrande.

• Gibraltar: A 5 minute walk from the terminal across the border into Spain will bring you to a taxi rank, from where you can hire a taxi to Sotogrande for about 25 euros. This is about a 20 minute drive away. Alternatively you can hire a car from Gibraltar which you can arrange to pick up at the airport.
• Malaga: Although flying into Malaga is sometimes cheaper than flying into Gibraltar you need to take into account the cost of a taxi to Sotogrande (about 100 euros) or the time it could take on the bus (more often than not a rather long-winded operation). The other option is to rent a car on arrival (easily done) or pre book one via the internet.
