Learn the ropes at Sunsail's internationally-accredited RYA Sailing School in Phuket, where you can develop fantastic new skills while experiencing a tropical adventure.

Located at the brand new Ao Po Grand Marina on the east coast of Phuket, our sail training area boasts stunning bays and beaches around more than 1,000 islands which rise dramatically from the Andaman Sea. North of our base you enter Phang Nga Bay, a protected stunning cruising area with a fantastic gallery of giant limestone rocks rising out of emerald waters.

Our RYA courses take place during the windier south-westerly monsoon season between March and October, with consistent winds and changing weather conditions. While sailing you will experience some rain showers but these do not generally last for long. The cruising area and anchorages are very well protected at all times.

For those who already have sailing experience, our courses progress up to RYA Coastal Skipper standard, to help you further develop your ability and confidence, as well as providing important certifications.

Location & How to Find Us:
The haunting beauty of Thailand offers tranquillity among dramatic scenery and beautiful beaches. From our three bases in Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Chang, you can choose from bareboat or skippered charters. Sailing school courses are also available from our base in Phuket. You can even charter a Sunsail yacht to compete in one of the many exciting Asian sailing regattas.

What's included:

• RYA courses in Thailand include accommodation on board the yacht, all breakfasts and lunches on board and three evening meals at sea. Marina fees are split amongst the crew and meals ashore are at the clients own expense.
• Linen and bath towels are provided.
