Windsurfing Courses:
Start windsurfing:
Windsurfing on Etang de Pissevaches This course will take you from complete beginner, teaching you the basics of windsurfing using the right equipment; enabling you to sail to where you want, to turn around and to sail back to where you started from. (3 sessions of 1h30mins)
Intensive Start windsurfing:
Suitable for beginners, this course is designed for those who wish to improve quicker. The course will begin with the same core skills as with the Start Windsurfing course and then progressing onto some of the intermediate elements of the sport. (6 sessions of 1h30mins)
Intermediate Non-Planing windsurfing:
Fine tuning of the basic windsurfing skills, making your windsurfing faster and more fluid. New techniques such as beach start and harness work will gear you up for the new stage: blasting. (3 sessions of 1h30mins)
Intermediate Planing windsurfing:
This is the second part of the intermediate course dealing with getting confident blasting. New techniques such as footstraps and waterstart starts will help you control your board in higher winds. (3 sessions of 1h30mins)
If you do bring your own equipment we can provide lessons and also information on a safari of the best spots in the area.

Price includes RYA instruction, all equipment and safety cover. Prices are based on a minimum of 2 participants and maximum of 6 people. If group size is smaller then lessons will be reduced in time.

Company Overview:
Sudwindsports Ltd. is a British based company who organise kitesurfing, windsurfing sailing holidays in the South of France. Our watersports school in St.Pierre-la-Mer is open from April until November, bookings however can be taken all year round.

Location & How to Find Us:
St. Pierre-la-Mer is situated in the Languedoc-Roussillon region (and Aude department) in the South East of France just above the Spanish border. This small seaside village is famous for its big market and its endless beaches. Situated on the foot of the La Clape mountain range, it borders the marshlands and salt lakes of the nature reserve formed by the estuary of the river Aude. It is approximately 20 minutes by car from central Narbonne.
The nearest airports are Carcassone, Perpignan and Nimes in France with Girona in Spain (often the lowest cost route) also providing regular flights not too far away. The train line also connects with Narbonne providing another option.
