Powerboat Training Courses:
The school has 45 mature, patient and experienced instructors, qualified to the highest standards in Sailing, Motor Cruising, Power Boating and Dinghy sailing.
Training is run using a fleet of "strata" yachts, motorcruiser
s, powerboats and dinghies from Beneteau, Jeaneau, Moody, Fairline, Ribeye, Wayfarer and Laser, all maintained to MCA standards.
A wide range of courses are on offer, to cater for people relatively new to boating right through to experts. We run courses in all areas from Level 2 rights through to Powerboat Instructor and run them all year round, on weekends as well as during the week. Of the 10,000 or so people we have taught so far, around 1/3rd are ladies.
One of the Sea Schools specialities is own boat tuition, where we put an experienced instructor on to a customers own boat and will teach whatever the customer wishes.
We also run RYA Motor Cruising training courses in Suffolk & Norfolk.
