Powerboat Courses:
Elements Power Boat courses will help make you a proficient and confident boat driver.

Whether you want to drive small ribs, sports boats, or small launches, for fishing, Water-skiing & wakeboarding or as a support boat driver for safety cover, Elements can provide the practical and navigational courses you need to increase your knowledge.

Elements professional instructors can take you through the internationally recognised RYA Powerboat levels 1 & 2, coaching you through choosing the right boat for your needs, pre trip boat checks, launching and retrieval, to coastal pilotage, navigation and advanced boat handling techniques. You can choose which level you take, Level 2 being the most popular.

These qualifications are essential for anyone thinking of working in the Watersports Industry here in NZ or overseas. You can use these courses as a progression to the RYA certificates of competence, recognised by maritime authorities worldwide. Location & How to Find Us:
Elements Watersports offers sailing courses from both Tauranga and Auckland. In Tauranga our base is at Kulim Park on the inner harbour opposite Matakana Island whilst in Auckland, our yachts depart from our base at Westhaven Marina and our small boats and windsurfing courses run from the beautiful beach of Torbay on Aucklands North shore. Elements also has a mobile unit for powerboat and Jetski courses, dinghy and windsurf coaching.

Location Tauranga
A short flight from Auckland domestic airport to Tauranga will bring you to the wonderful bay of plenty. Tauranga has plenty and a good variety of accommodation and Elements Watersports base is within easy 10 minute drive from the main city centre and only 15 minutes from Mount Maunganui. Elements Watersports base is situated on the inner harbour at Kulim Park in Matua, easily located by looking out for our White Shed on the waters edge and lots of activity in the park.

Location Auckland
Elements bases in Auckland are just a short 30 and 45 minute hop from the international airport. Elements Yacht courses in Auckland run from our base in Westhaven Marina, just 20 mins walking distance from the viaduct harbour and city centre and right in the centre of the hauraki gulf.

Elements dinghy, power boating and windsurfing run from our location on the beautiful north shore beach of Torbay, head north over the harbour bridge and simple follow the signs for Torbay which will lead you to Torbay Yacht club and beach. Because Elements small boating courses are also mobile we can come to you! so no matter where you are in NZ we can arrange to teach you in your own back yard.
