Overview:

Based on the North Norfolk coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty, SailCraft Sea School operates in one of the safest and most picturesque locations for watersports, offering a wide range of RYA courses in sailing and powerboating. The sheltered water south of the Island of Scolt Head provides an ideal area for beginners to enjoy watersports in beautiful surroundings. The more experienced sailor will find plenty of challenges to sharpen their skills. The open sea beckons the keen navigator and in the worst of conditions the creeks to Burnham Overy Staithe offer an ideal ‘Day Sail’ to another harbour.

Sailcraft is inspected and fully recognised by the RYA and licensed by the AALA. Our instructors are chosen for their relaxed but professional approach to passing on their skills and experience in a variety of water-based activities.

We have acquired an assortment of craft over the years to provide the very best opportunity for beginners and experienced drivers to improve their skills and awareness of the important safety issues associated with operating low and high speed craft in confined waters. Below are a range of courses to provide skills for leisure, commercial and water sports instructors alike. All of our powerboat courses can be run on dates to suit you if you have sufficient numbers. Accommodation:

There is a variety of accommodation in the vicinity which we'll be happy point you in the right direction for. For those students aged 16 or more and on an instructor course, we provide accommodation.

How to Get Here:

Brancaster Staithe is just a couple of hours from London and central England.

By car Brancaster Staithe is midway between Hunstanton and Wells-next-the Sea on the A149 coast road.

From Norwich head to Fakenham and then take the B1355 to Burnham Market and onto Brancaster Staithe.

The nearest railway is King's Lynn. From there you can catch the Coasthopper bus, or hire a taxi to Brancaster Staithe.
