Offering a diverse sailing environment
the UK is an extremely rewarding area to sail in. Many
of our partners offer bareboat and/or skippered yacht
charter in spectacular areas of the UK - from the relatively
shallow east coast with its many inlets, to the rugged
highlands and islands of northern Scotland.
It's generally thought that the centre
of sailing is the Solent, located on the South coast
between the Isle of Wight and the mainland. This is
consequently also the busiest area for leisure craft,
but still offers an excellent sailing area with the
many harbours of the south coast, and it's proximity
to France and the Channel Islands (approximately 12
to 16 hours sailing time).
Finding your Charter:
- Use our interactive map to select
the general region of the British Isles in which you
are interested to show the widest range of craft available,
or
- Use the colour coded table which
tells you how many of each charter type we have listed
in a region.
