We also run this holiday as a Pot Luck week for single travellers to meet others, with the added bonus of an inclusive Hotel room for the week for your own privacy.

Flexible Holiday Options:

1. Stay and Sail - combine the sailing with time ashore in a small Hotel or s/c apartment if you don't fancy sleeping on board. Not everyone wants to take the plunge and commit themselves to living on a yacht for a week when they're not used to it.
2. 2 weeks Sail and Stay
   • 1st week Learn to Sail and live aboard the yacht, 2nd week relax and hang out in a villa with a pool - perfect !
   • 2 weeks Sailing - 1st week Learn to Sail, 2nd week further sailing exploring other islands with our support.
3. Pot Luck weeks for singles - we also offer this option on selected weeks throughout the season with the added bonus of a Hotel room included in the price for your privacy

Depending on what you’d like to achieve and the skills we manage to cover with you throughout the weeks sailing, there are 3 different levels of certification we offer. Everyone on board has the chance to get all the levels on offer. Certification is with International Yachtmaster Training, a worldwide recognised training provider in 22 countries.

The Levels of Certification Available:

Level 1: Crew Certificate

For people who fancy having a go but aren't too bothered about being the skipper.

Level 2: Flotilla Skipper Certificate

For people who are keen to be able to handle the boat in most situations and make decisions afloat as the skipper.

Level 3. The International Certificate of Competence (ICC)

For people who really want an official sailing licence, and intend to go on and charter yachts without a skipper.

Company Overview:
Sea-Trek Adventures is a small friendly company, owned and managed by James and Susannah Hobart. We spent 4 years as managers of a large, resort based sailing and activities company based on the island, and realized that as the numbers of guests increased, we lost the personal touch and attention to detail that is so important on holiday.

So started Sea-Trek Adventures in May 2000 - offering affordable, quality sailing holidays for those who don't really relish enforced socialising, big quiz nights and set meals buffet style. We offer just enough support and direction so you can enjoy your holiday and actually get an insight into the area and people you've come to visit.

You have the freedom to choose how involved you become in the activity you're trying, where to eat and visit, who to group up with or wether to just chill out and soak up some sun by yourselves

Location & How to Find Us:
All our activities take place from the beautiful island of Kefalonia nestled in the Ionian Sea of Greece. Other nearby islands are Zakinthos, Lefkas, Ithaki, Megannisi, Paxos and Corfu.

Cephalonia, the largest of the Ionian islands, beset with olive groves and cypress trees, secluded bays, beautiful beaches and the mountains rising to over 1600 meters, forming the perfect backdrop, is an inspiration.

Vertical cliffs are reflected into the blue waters of the sea where dolphins, turtles and seals swim and bask in the sunshine. A gem amongst the Ionian islands, Cephalonia has an air of tranquility and calm, ancient villages, beautiful harbours and the once mighty fortresses from its earliest history. The island is the setting for the much acclaimed novel, "Captain Corelli's Mandolin".

We provide a free Travel Planner service to take away the hassle of finding flights for you to us. We can first source suitable flights for you through our excellent agent. We then contact you and you book and pay directly with them, or follow the link (destination Kefalonia ) and browse the flights online for yourself.

Direct return flights are available from most UK airports. There are also numerous other routes available to Cephalonia.

Additional Comments:

• Our yachts are modern, well equipped and very well maintained. They are designed for cruising in the Med, and are chosen for their excellent teaching characteritics and easy handling. If you've never lived on a boat before its kind of like a floating caravan. We use Feeling 306's and Feeling 326's as our teaching yachts.
