What's the weather like?
During the Summer months sailing conditions are ideal with an almost-clockwork NW 4-5 wind which starts mid-morning and dies away in the evening. Early and late season winds tend to be lighter, although a little less predictable.
Pre-Flotilla Training:
Often couples, families or groups where at least one person has some previous experience, spend the first week of their holiday aboard a training yacht before taking their own flotilla boat in the second week.
This has proved an excellent way to learn as everyone benefits from the training and their skills are fresh ready to enjoy the thrill of taking charge of their own flotilla boat. The first week can be either a certificated course or just a skills brush-up.
All training courses are run from our Bodrum base are are 7 days long with 5/5 of these spend sailing. Over this time you will sail approximately 120 to 140 nautical miles.

- Airport transfers £50 per person return from Bodrum airport (approx 30 mins)
- Food "Kitty" £15 per person per week, payable locally
- Log Books, if required - available locally £10
- Harbour fees in some ports (shared between the crew)
- Meals eaten ashore
