Tamar
Lake is a suberb location for inland windsurfing. It is a spacious,
uncrowded lake approximately 81 acres. It is in an ideal location
to pick up the best of the prevailing winds and is only a short drive
from the Centre. Facilites include Cha nging
roomes, hot showers, lecture room and cafe. It also hasrescue boats
which are manned by our instructors
We have a team of 4 Quailified and experienced coaches able to teach up to level 3. They have safety baot qualifications amnd arew qualified first aiders. Group sizes are kept small so everyone receives individual attention and quality coaching. They will give you informal talks on the best equipment to buy, rigging your kit through to weather and sailing locations. As well as excellent coaches they are keen windsurfers and you can catch them out in the surf carving around and wave riding right outside the Centre To make life easier we have all our begiiner kit already rigged so you can start windsurfing straight away! We have a selection of boards ideal for the levels at which we teach from wide stlye beginner boards through to BIC wide style improver boards and High Fly Magnums and Maxxs. Our range of Tushingham and Bic sails start from 4.5 – and go up to 8.8 metres. Our Courses:
