Motor Cruising can offer wonderful experiences for boat owners and their friends and families. The vision of exploring beautiful coastlines is the dream of many. However it is important to be safe on the water, learning and using new skills which will provide enjoyment for years to come.

ffshore Sea School can offer you a wide range of courses. Our modern Training Centre at the Marina is airy, relaxing, comfortable and well equipped. You are welcome to join any course at the level which is most appropriate to your experience and ability. A warm welcome is extended to all beginners as it is to the most experienced Yachtmaster.
Now open is our new Training Centre in the North West of England at Glasson Dock Marina, near Preston. From here we can offer the complete range of all our shorebased courses for both sail and motor as well as own boat tuition.
Practical courses range from Personal Watercraft, Powerboat-Introduction/Junior, sail cruising and motor cruising from beginner through to Yachtmaster Commercial Certificates. A whole range of vessels are used, from PWC's, powerboats, Sailing Yachts and Motor Cruisers up to 24 metres. Shorebased courses on offer, which include Day Skipper and First Aid, apply equally to sail and motor.
As fully recognised RYA training centres, our training is performed by authorised RYA instructors, and commercially experienced skippers.
For something a little different, Offshore Sea School can offer a skippered boat charter service for private or corporate events. Setting sail from Cardigan Bay on a 47 foot Beneteau Antares motor cruiser, or 31 foot Beneteau Oceanis sailing yacht you are invited to explore the picturesque coastline of the Llyn Peninsula. Skipper services are also available for boat delivery in this country and abroad. All skippers are fully insured and hold commercial licences. Whether you are training to skipper your own boat, wishing to obtain internationally recognised RYA qualifications, would like to have individual customised training or relaxing and enjoying the scenery, have fun on the water with Offshore Sea School.
From Helmsman to Yachtmaster Offshore, all courses are taught on a luxury motorcruiser or on your own craft. Our 2005 Beneteau Antares 13.80 luxury flybridge motorcruiser is available for all motor cruising courses and charter/corporate days.
