Iceland Highlights 1 - 5th July to 15th July - £1,345
Sail and Explore from the Westfjords to the Arctic Circle and Eyjafjord.

This trips provides the opportunity for you to see the Highlights of our two popular cruising regions in Iceland. We start in the Westfjords, which are the most uninhabited part of Iceland and many parts are only accessible by boat. Tucked in under the cliffs this is a perfect place to begin your sailing holiday. We spend the first few days exploring this wilderness area before continuing further east.

Watch the sun at midnight as it dips just below the horizon giving us 24 hours of daylight on this passage.

After the wilderness of the west we head east and explore some of the many small towns and villages along the north coast, these towns becoming larger the further east we go. Our destination is Akureyri, the second largest city in Iceland.

Before we head south down this fjord, we make an offshore passage to the island of Grimsey and visit the Arctic Circle. There is the opportunity to see whales throughout the whole of this passage so we are always on the lookout for them.

Finally after visiting the tiny island of Hrisey in Eyjafjord we arrive in Akureyri where we sample café culture and nightlife of a big city and contrast it with the tranquillity of the uninhabited regions. Enquire...

Join us as we sail from Akureyri via the Arctic Circle to Isafjord.

This trip provides the opportunity to explore the north and west coasts of Iceland.

Akureyri sits at the head of the Eyjafjord, the longest fjord in Iceland. This fjord has small fishing villages on either side and we have the opportunity to visit one or two and watch the fishermen as they work. We visit Grimsey on the Arctic Circle before we start heading westwards.

The coastline is ever changing as we head west to Hornstrandir and isolation where we anchor in secluded fjords and visit places only accessible by boat. We walk along spectacular cliffs and experience the peace and tranquillity of the wilderness of the Westfjords. Enquire...
