All of Wetstuffs yachts carry full safety equipment as required by the Code of Practice, e.g. liferaft, harnesses, flares, lifejackets. They also carry the neccessary charts and publications for the local area. A spinnaker pole is carried as standard with a spinnaker being available at an extra charge. An outboard engine is also available at extra charge if you would prefer not to row the yachts tender.

An 8 berth yacht, Prime Evil has 4 proper single bunks, and additional 2 good single bunks when the aft cabin is divided in two by the lee cloth. There are also 2 heads with showers on board.

Prices are for bareboat cruising charter, with cruising sails only.Spinnakers/cruising chutes may be available at extra cost. Skipper available at £150 per day.

Additional Comments:

  • An article from the yachting press : "The Sigma 400 is essentially a race boat, but that doesn't mean she's horrendously complicated to sail or that she needs an army of deck hands to handle her. True to the Sigma philosophy of high performance sailing in an easily manageable form, the 400 has a practical functional deck layout with the accent on convenience. She can easily be sailed by a short handed family crew one day, and without any adjustments win her class the next. Swept shrouds, for example, mean that the mast is amply supported for normal sailing without the need for running backstays. For racing crews who want to gain the extra advantage from optimum tuning and tensioning, runners can be fitted as an option. Principal sail control lines are all led to the cockpit winches and clutches, which makes life a lot easier for racing and family crews alike. And when the day's sailing is at an end, the 400 changes into her leisure clothes and becomes the perfect place to relax, entertain, tuck into a hearty meal and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The very smart, beautifully finished interior has berths for 8 in total with 6 sea berths, a delightful convivial circular styled saloon area, two showers and a comprehensively fitted galley with refrigerator, double sinks and a cooker with oven, grill and twin burner hob. A hot and cold water system serves the galley and both the shower/WC compartments. The combination of Rob Humphries racing expertise and Sigma's famous flair for practicality and comfort, make the Sigma 400 an unbeatable cruiser/racer."

Roller-furling has been added for the headsail and the main has been de-tuned to make Prime Evil no more complicated than your average charter boat, yet at the same time retaining the ability to change up several gears into racing mode.

This company also offer sailing courses and milebuilding cruises.
