Meniscus of Gweek, a Bruce Roberts 45, will be
your home for the voyage. Meniscus means the smallest crescent of
the moon and Gweek is a village at the top of the beautiful Helford
River in Cornwall where she was fitted out.
Meniscus has been surveyed and approved as an
RYA Training vessel, and hence this is your opportunity to take
an RYA course in one of the most beautiful areas of the world.
The accommodation comprises 8 berths in 4 cabins
outside the saloon, and 2 heads, one of which is fitted with shower.
In general, except for occasional race weeks, four or possibly six
guest berths will be filled, allowing plenty of space and stowage
for each person on board.
Some years ago Mark trained as a chef, and has
effectively adapted these skills to the confined conditions of a
yachts galley where he rustles up hearty meals whatever the
conditions. Depending on availability there is always a range of
local and international cuisine, including freshly caught sea food
whenever possible.
Bruce Roberts yachts are designed and proven to
be robust blue water cruisers able to provide a good general level
of performance as well as being capable of withstanding heavy conditions
should the need arise. She has proved herself to be a good all round
boat capable of making good passage times and sailing through several
storms.

Meniscus is available for skippered charter, RYA
Sailing Courses and Adventure Cruises.
